My Approach

Nervous-System Focused

I take a nervous-system–focused approach, using slow, intentional movements that help clients reorient to safe touch, feeling grounded, and supported—especially those navigating PTSD or chronic illness.

Collaborative + Client-Led

My massage is grounded in safety and attunement. I communicate each step of the process before it occurs and work intentionally to build trust and rapport, helping you feel safe, informed, and supported.

Services

Prenatal massage is safe starting in the first trimester and can continue immediately postpartum when contraindications are considered. Sessions are tailored to your comfort, using either a face-down pregnancy pillow or side-lying support depending on your needs

Hot Stones and Cupping

Hot stones help relax tense muscles and can be combined with deep tissue techniques for added relief, while cupping supports blood flow and the release of adhesions and knots, making it an excellent add-on for areas that need extra focus

  • Trauma-informed refers to an approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizes safety, choice, and empowerment in interactions and care. In the context of massage therapy, it means:

Awareness of trauma effects: Understanding how past trauma—such as PTSD, abuse, or chronic stress—can affect a person’s body, nervous system, and responses to touch.

Creating a safe environment: Ensuring clients feel physically and emotionally safe throughout the session.

Collaboration and consent: Asking for and respecting client preferences, explaining techniques before using them, and allowing clients to have control over their experience.

Sensitivity to triggers: Being mindful of body areas, touch, or situations that could inadvertently cause discomfort or re-traumatization.

Supporting autonomy and empowerment: Helping clients feel in control of their body and the session, rather than passive recipients of care.).
